With that out of the way, let's dive into the gameplay. 😊 I see plates, I must smash! Traverse the mountain Brains are silly, aren't they? There's a solid selection of advanced settings in Horizon Call of the Mountain so I suggest trying them out to find the right match so that you can play for hours on end like I did without feeling uncomfortable. Something about changing from a smooth rotation to a snapped one removed my nauseous feeling altogether.
I solved this by changing rotation to snap the camera instead. I easily get sick in cars so I'm sure it's the same part of my brain playing with me. The other issue I faced was that I felt nauseous every single time I rotated even just a little bit. I then switched to standing mode and there was a huge difference so I highly recommend playing in this mode if you can. 💥 v1d30chumz 194-143-137-78Ī couple of things before I get into the rest of the review I started playing Horizon Call of the Mountain in sitting mode and was having fun with it but felt like it wasn't really doing a great job of making me feel like I was in the game. A Snapmaw gets its sights on you while you're distracted and the action really gets going at that point. This is actually the first game that I've reviewed on any VR device and I was certainly surprised! Horizon Call of the Mountain starts with a tense scene where you're sitting in a boat listening to a couple of people as you survey your environment and start to ignore what they're saying while the awe-inspiring new perspective in VR pulls you in to your surroundings. Having played and thoroughly enjoyed the first 2 mainline titles in the Horizon series, I was excited to see a new game available for the latest VR tech. │ Remember to support your favourite streamers and content creators for all the entertainment that they provide. Jump off the couch, strap in to your PSVR2 and start climbing your way to victory while hunting machines in Horizon Call of the Mountain.
